Wilex Samoa, a 100% locally owned family business, officially launched its first line of exquisite chocolate and cocoa products in November of 2016.
Delicately crafted by Samoa’s own local chocolatiers at its internationally accredited facilities for Food Safety (HACCP) in Lelata, KOKO LOA is a new boutique cocoa brand that proudly celebrates its Samoan origins. The name KOKO LOA was inspired by the Samoan legend of Tagaloa, the Samoan mythical creator of the universe and the heavens, and its connection with the aiga (family) of the founders of Wilex Samoa –Tagaloa Eddie Wilson-hence “Koko Loa- Heaven Sent –with Alofa from Samoa”
KOKO LOA range is made from carefully hand-picked premium & fermented cocoa beans. Infused with the tropical flavours that Samoa is world famous for. The KOKO LOA range consists of Samoan Origin 72%, Fruit and Nut; and Coconut Milk Chocolate; and its Premium and Pacific brand Cocoa Powders.
