Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust (ADNZ) is the chosen charity of The Chocolate and Coffee Show.
The Trust enriches the lives of adults and child with multiple disabilities by providing trained assistance dogs that performs specific tasks to support a range of disabilities like Autism, Down syndrome, Diabetes, Cerebral palsy, Multiple sclerosis, Dementia, PTSD and many other combinations of neurological and physical disabilities. 90% of our clients are children from as young as 4 years old to adults of all ages.
Assistance dog’s support mobility, communication, self-esteem and facilitate freedom for kids to actively participate in the community, providing safety, emotional support and companionship whilst performing multiple tasks to support each client’s own disability(s) and challenges.
